Three Easy Changes to Take your Videos to the Next Level

As most small business owners, it's probably too expensive to hire a professional to make your social media content. Like everything else that goes with running your own business, you have to do it yourself. Even though you sell candles, you're also the videographer for your company.

Here are a couple changes you can make to improve the quality of your videos for social media:

Number 1: I cannot stress this enough, clean your camera lens. If you've ever noticed the glare or blurring in a picture or video, the culprit is probably a fingerprint. Take a couple extra seconds to wipe the lens before you capture a moment. Once you start noticing it, you'll never not, so you're welcome!

Number 2: Change the default video settings on your camera from 30 frames per second (fps) to 60 fps. This will give you a crisper video and allow you to slow it down in editing without making the movement jerky.

Number 3: Add a little movement to your video. Whether you push in or pan left, it makes your video a little more interesting. Remember, your audience is following you to learn about your products or services and be entertained. So give the something fun to watch.

Happy creating!
